I view the year 2012 as depicted above — female energy (2) featured like bookends converging with divine energy (0) and inhibiting, or enhancing, male energy (1) for a year when a kinder, gentler nature in all of us will manifest.

The number 2012 reduces to a 5 (2+0+1+2 = 5) which is the number of change, usually major change. This “universal year 5″ couples with the US of A’s “personal year 7″ which signifies that those changes brought about by the 5 may affect those of us in the United States in ways that require all of us to view our lives and the lives of those around us in very different ways . . . primarily a more loving, compassionate and humble way.

In 2000, I wrote a newsletter that offered that the millennium of the 2000s would usher in the reign of feminine power. This assertion is based on the number 2 being the consistent and forefront number of the coming 1,000 years.

The last 1,000 years were ruled by the number 1 because each year had the 1 as the first number of whatever year it was, i.e., 1001, 1206, 1514, 1891, 1921, and so on. In numerology, all the numbers in a series are relevant and have specific vibratory aspects associated with them but the first number in the series is the most dominant.

The number 1 exudes the most powerful vibration of the male-oriented numbers which are 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9. The 1 is associated with individualism, innovation, courage, originality, forcefulness, aggression, power and progression. Certainly we could all agree that those qualities were front and center over the past 1,000 years. These qualities helped mankind to innovate and activate innumerable concepts, products, services, philosophies, ideologies, and advancements that have enabled mankind to move forward with unprecedented improvements and advancements in agriculture, industry, and technology. But there was a downside associated with the number 1 too; it focused on aggression, possessiveness, forcefulness, coerciveness, and a winner-takes-all attitude that facilitated enormous devastation engaging us in wars, revolutions, robber barons, and our modern day Ponzi schemers and ultimately effecting a glaring degradation of human mores, principles, and values.

Since the 2000s began, we have seen a rise in female presence worldwide as women have come out of the woodwork (in some countries) to help bring about changes for the better treatment of women, children, and all things of the earth in general. (more…)
